Lindenhof Restaurant

The Lindenhof in Thiendorf explicitly welcomes restaurant guests who are not staying at its hotel. Its cooking focuses on regional dishes and German home cooking, with a stated range of vegetarian options as well. That makes it a practical address to consider for a mixed group rather than a restaurant reserved for overnight residents.

The main dining room seats around ninety people, while the garden terrace has space for about thirty in suitable weather. A smaller breakfast room can also be used for functions. Children are catered for with appropriate food, high chairs and a play corner, so families can ask the restaurant about the seating arrangement that will work best for their visit.

Celebrations form another part of the business. The team can discuss menus or buffets and help organise tables and decorations for a birthday, wedding or other gathering. Larger bookings outside normal opening hours are possible by arrangement. A regular dinner and a private function should therefore be planned directly with the restaurant rather than treated as interchangeable reservations.

Lindenhof is at 11 Kamenzer Straße, close to Schönfeld Castle. Its dining hours are more limited than the hotel's reception hours: Monday to Thursday service begins at 16:00, while Friday to Sunday is by arrangement. Call or email before setting out, especially for a weekend visit, to confirm the meal, current menu and availability of a garden table.
