Little Efes is the takeaway in Minsterley for the evening when nobody wants to cook: Turkish grill and kebabs from the charcoal, doner and shish in bread or on a plate with rice and salad, plus burgers, pizzas and chips for the rest of the table. Portions are generous and the meat is cooked to order rather than kept warm.

It is a small place, mostly collection, with a couple of seats while you wait. Cash only - there is no card machine - so bring notes. For a cottage stay in the Hope Valley it is the nearest hot meal after the pubs have stopped serving food.
