Radmanove Mlinice

Radmanove Mlinice is a restaurant and excursion estate in the Cetina canyon, around six kilometres from Omiš. Former watermills, tall trees and the river give it a different setting from the coastal restaurants in town. The grounds retain reminders of the old mill estate, including stone mill equipment and a sundial, and can be reached by road or by boat.

The cooking makes room for both the river and Dalmatian traditions. Grilled trout with chard and potatoes, frog legs with prosciutto and pašticada with homemade gnocchi are among the house specialities. Soparnik and bread baked beneath a covered bell offer another introduction to local food, while black cuttlefish risotto and grilled sea fish bring the coast into the menu.

There is also a substantial grill selection, from ćevapi and chicken to stuffed steaks and mixed platters for two. Tomato pasta and vegetable risotto provide simpler alternatives, and pancakes or the cake of the day round out the meal. Some larger preparations need planning: the restaurant asks for advance notice for dishes such as spit-roasted lamb and eel stew, so discuss these when reserving.

Indoor tables and an outdoor terrace make the restaurant suitable for different weather, while a children's playground and sports areas give families something to do around the meal.
