Restaurant Ronja im Ringlokschuppen

Ronja is a vegetarian and vegan restaurant inside Mülheim's Ringlokschuppen, close to Schloss Broich and the MüGa park. Its Mediterranean approach brings together vegetables, pulses, herbs and familiar comfort-food formats. The kitchen works with seasonal ingredients and local suppliers where possible, including vegetables from kleines Grün in Mülheim, and supplements its regular menu with changing weekly dishes.

The selection goes well beyond a single meat-free alternative. You can start with hummus, couscous salad, aubergine and tomato sugo, or a mixed warm plate with falafel and stuffed vine leaves. Main dishes include vegetable curry, celery or soy schnitzel, plant-based burgers and several pizzas. Vegan adaptations are offered for suitable dishes, while gluten-free requests should be discussed with the kitchen rather than assumed possible for everything.

There is an open indoor dining area and a large terrace looking towards the green surroundings of the Ringlokschuppen. Reservations are accepted for indoor tables only; the terrace operates with free choice of available seats. This is a useful distinction when planning an outdoor meal after a park visit or before an event nearby.
