Ristorante Mont Néry is the restaurant of the Villa Fridau residence in Gressoney-Saint-Jean. Its name goes back to the Locanda Mont Néry, which the family's great-uncles Erwin and Pina Monterin ran in the village in the 1950s. Today Marysa looks after the dining room and chef Boris Melon runs the kitchen.
The cooking is Aosta Valley and Piedmontese, built on produce from close by: the valley's cured meats and cheeses, fresh pasta made in the house with a choice of sauces, and game served with polenta. The ice cream is homemade, in flavors that follow the season, and Boris and Marysa are glad to suggest a bottle from the wine list.
