Ristoro Colle Betta sits at 2,727 meters on the Bettaforca pass, right where the Sant'Anna-Bettaforca chairlift arrives, in the middle of the Monterosa ski area between the Gressoney valley and the Val d'Ayas. In winter skiers stop on the snow terrace facing the Monte Rosa massif; in summer hikers come up on the trail from Stafal or ride the lifts via Sant'Anna.
The hut is large and spread over two floors. The menu mixes Aosta Valley and Piedmontese dishes with pizza, sandwiches and toasts for a quick stop between runs, the cellar holds a good range of wines, and the bar serves beer, coffee and hot chocolate. It is open for as long as the lifts are running.
