Sea Breezes

Sea Breezes occupies a dining room on Portree Pier, with windows looking over the harbour and the boats using the waterfront. Seafood gives the restaurant its main direction, and the kitchen sources as many ingredients locally as possible. Langoustines, mussels and seafood platters are among the dishes highlighted by the house, with availability determining what can be served. The platters bring several kinds of island seafood together for people who want to share. Alongside the shellfish, the menu includes familiar dishes such as scampi and steak with chips, giving the table alternatives to a meal built entirely around seafood. There are starters and desserts as well as main courses. Sticky toffee pudding, chocolate brownie and Scottish cheeses are among the choices named by the restaurant. Vegan and gluten free options are available, and guests with specific dietary requirements can discuss them with the team. Drinks include local whisky and gin, with Talisker and Misty Isle among the producers mentioned by the house. The room has Wi-Fi for customers. Sea Breezes welcomes both visitors and local diners and operates on a walk-in basis without table reservations. Its position beside the pier makes the harbour part of the experience, with fishing boats arriving and landing their catch nearby. After eating, guests can continue along the pier or walk around Portree, while the nearby Scorrybreac circuit offers another perspective on the bay.
