Alliance Café opened in February 2021 in the garden of the Alliance Française de Banjul, in the institute's building on Kairaba Avenue. It was set up as a café and restaurant for everyone, bringing art, culture and food together in one place.

The kitchen leans French and Italian, and the garden hosts regular evenings: French cheese and wine tastings, and traditional kora music played in the calm of the courtyard. It opens in the morning and stays open into the evening, later towards the weekend.
