Agriturismo Casa Galli

Casa Galli is a farmhouse restaurant on the hillside at Albareto above Ziano, in the Val Tidone, where the family has cooked for guests since 1997 and the view from the terrace is vineyards down to the valley. The dining room is old stone with a fireplace and candles; in summer the tables move out under the porticoes, and there is a play area for children, which makes it an easy Sunday lunch for families.

The food is Piacenza cooking without shortcuts: house cured meats, gnocco fritto, tortelli and pisarei made in the kitchen, roasts, and the Gutturnio of the hills to drink. It opens Wednesday to Sunday, lunch and dinner except Sunday evening; there are rooms and apartments for anyone who wants to stay after the wine.
