Bistro des Arts brings the atmosphere of a Parisian neighbourhood restaurant to the Dubai Marina waterfront. Its dining room takes inspiration from the French bistros of the nineteen seventies, with rustic decoration and a terrace facing the promenade. French regional cooking anchors the menu, while a seafood counter, bread, pastries and a wine selection give the restaurant several different ways to approach a meal. A table can begin with devilled eggs, an onion tart with anchovies and olives, or warm Camembert accompanied by grilled baguette. Burgundy snails arrive with garlic and parsley butter, and the onion soup has a crust of Gruyère over its croutons. Seafood choices range from oysters and grilled octopus to salmon, seabass and mussels cooked with white wine, shallots and thyme. On the meat side, duck confit comes with lentils and spinach, while the butcher’s selection includes beef tenderloin and Black Angus ribeye. There is also a beef burger with brie and black truffle mayonnaise. Cheese ravioli and mushroom risotto offer another direction through the menu. Sharing boards combine cheeses, charcuterie and smaller savoury bites, making them an alternative to ordering separate starters. The setting works for a meal with friends, a family gathering or a quieter table for two. Access is directly from the Marina Promenade, rather than through the hotel. Guests arriving by car are directed to Marina Mall, and tables can be reserved online or by telephone.
