Cristof's on McGregor is the Fort Myers restaurant of Sicilian born chef and owner Cristof Danzi. His culinary training took him through Italy, France, England and Bahrain, and the menu reflects a Mediterranean foundation alongside Southern touches. Seafood, aged beef and pasta are central interests, with outdoor seating offering another way to enjoy the neighborhood setting on McGregor Boulevard. The kitchen's combinations make its character clear. Fried green tomatoes are layered with bacon, mozzarella and a corn salsa, while homemade crab cakes are paired with mixed greens and passion fruit coulis. Mussels are simmered with garlic and shallots in a Cajun white wine broth.
