Darboe's Restaurant

Darboe's is a Gambian-owned bar and restaurant in the middle of the Senegambia Strip in Kololi. It opens for breakfast and stays busy late into the night, with a band playing on most evenings, sport on a big screen and free Wi-Fi.

The kitchen serves Gambian and international food, and it is the Gambian dishes that bring people back: fish benachin, rice cooked in one pot with fish and vegetables in a spiced tomato stock; yassa, chicken or fish in a sharp onion and lemon sauce; and domoda, the peanut stew served with rice. There are tables outdoors.
