Konoba Ribar

Konoba Ribar - "the fisherman's tavern" - sits on the coast road between Morinj and Perast, with its terrace built out over the water of the inner bay and the two islands of Perast straight ahead. It is the plain, good kind of Boka seafood place: black risotto, grilled fish by weight, prawns, fried squid, breaded mussels, octopus, a fish soup to start, and a few pasta and vegetarian plates for the rest of the table.

The kitchen is open every day from midday to ten in the evening, which makes it easy to fit around a boat trip or a swim from the rocks below. From Morinj it is a few minutes by car or a walk along the shore. A table at the edge of the terrace is worth asking for.
