Oulla Halali Sou

Oulla Halali Sou is a family meze house in the Moutallos district of Paphos Old Town. Established in 2023, it brings together a grill, a kitchen preparing handmade appetizers and a dining space intended for shared meals. The name is a Greek expression meaning everything for you, reflecting the family's emphasis on generosity at the table. Cypriot recipes guide the cooking, with fresh local ingredients and preparations passed between generations. Meze is the central experience, supported by souvlaki, sheftalia and village salad. Appetizers accompany the grilled food, and replenishing those small dishes forms part of the house's approach to hospitality. The family describes the grill and the appetizer kitchen as complementary parts of the meal, bringing together flame cooked meat and a succession of other flavours. Local wines, beers and soft drinks accompany the food. Guests can sit in the air conditioned dining room or on the outdoor patio terrace. The restaurant also arranges meals for groups and special occasions, asking organisers to contact the team so that preparations can be made. Reservations are recommended, although walk in guests are welcome. Takeaway is available, and delivery is offered through Wolt. Live music events add another dimension to the tavern, with meze forming part of the experience on those occasions. This remains a place organised around eating together: guests visiting for music or a casual gathering are expected to order food. Its combination of family cooking, shared plates and personal service gives the restaurant a clear neighbourhood character.
