Restaurant Joris

Restaurant Joris is a family restaurant on Elspeterweg in Nunspeet, close to the railway and bus station. The business has welcomed guests since 1979, and its approach centres on sociable meals, attentive service and a broad menu. Lunch, dinner and a smaller bite or drink are all part of the offer, making it a useful meeting place for people with different appetites. Its location also suits a meal before or after travelling by public transport. The station is about a hundred metres away, while the shops in the centre can be reached on foot. Walking and cycling routes run through the surrounding area, and the restaurant suggests using it as a starting point for an outing. Guests arriving by car have the restaurant's own free parking available. Electric bicycle charging points are provided for customers purchasing something at the restaurant. Families have a separate children's playroom, giving younger visitors a space of their own during a visit. The menu is divided into a main selection, lunches and desserts, so a visit can be planned around a full meal or something lighter. Guests with allergies are asked to tell the staff; the kitchen explicitly warns that cross contamination cannot be prevented. Tables are reserved by telephone or in person. The combination of transport links, parking and family facilities makes Joris a practical place to bring a mixed group together around a meal.
