Restaurant Lido

Lido is a restaurant on Seestrasse in Horn, with a modern setting beside Lake Constance. Silvia Hafner's restaurant combines a regular menu with changing weekday meals and seasonal dishes. It is a useful local choice when you want familiar Swiss-style cooking and a broad selection, rather than a meal built around a tasting menu.

The main menu includes minced meat with macaroni and apple sauce, homemade meatloaf, pork piccata and several schnitzel preparations. Cordon bleu receives particular attention, with pork or veal versions and fillings that include the Bündner combination of cured ham and cheese. Smaller portions are listed for guests with a lighter appetite.

Fish choices include crisp pikeperch pieces with tartare sauce and perch fillets with almonds, rice and vegetables. Lido opens in the morning throughout the year, but closing times change between summer and winter.
