How do I get to Pag island?
The southern end of Pag is linked to the mainland by the Pag Bridge, so you can drive straight onto the island. The northern side is also served by a ferry connection. Pag sits within reach of Zadar and Rijeka, both of which have airports, making car or bus travel the usual way to arrive.
When is the best time to visit Pag?
July and August bring the warmest sea and the full Zrće party season, but also the biggest crowds. Late May, June and September offer pleasant swimming weather, lighter traffic and lower prices, which suits travellers who want the coves, cheese cellars and old towns without the peak-summer intensity.
What is Pag famous for?
