El Palmar de Vejer · Spanish · Fish and seafood · Takes reservations
Carretera de la Playa s/n, 11159 El Palmar de Vejer
Casa Juan is a seafront restaurant in El Palmar whose story dates to 1979. Its cooking brings together seafood from the surrounding coast and vegetables from the gardens of Conil and Vejer. The house calls this approach Producto Km0, emphasizing the ingredients of the area while giving traditional dishes contemporary accompaniments. The menu has a substantial bluefin tuna section. Preparations include tartare with truffle or a spicy seasoning, marinated cubes with mango ajoblanco and seaweed croutons, and grilled tarantelo with vegetable couscous and green tomato compote. Tuna ribs cooked in the Josper come with barbecue sauce and potatoes, while another cut is served with pumpkin and orange cream and roasted garlic. Rice is a central part of the offer, particularly black rice with cuttlefish and rice with scarlet prawns. These dishes are made for at least two people and must be ordered in advance. To begin, there are seasonal tomato salads, fried octopus with avocado and mango, fried anchovies with lemon, and squid with black aioli. Prawn meatballs with pine nut and fried garlic sauce provide another sharing option. Beyond seafood, the menu lists grilled Iberian pork, slowly cooked pluma with mushrooms, and beef sirloin with foie. Desserts include baked cheesecake with pears, lemon sorbet, and chocolate in several textures with salted toffee. Bookings use the restaurant's online reservation system; changes to an existing reservation can be discussed by telephone, subject to availability.

Subida de la Concepción, 2, 38710 Breña Alta
Tue–Sat 13:00–23:00; Mon, Sun Closed
Casa Osmunda occupies a traditional house on the ascent towards La Concepción in Breña Alta. Before becoming a restaurant, the building served as a resting place for merchants travelling between Santa Cruz de La Palma and Los Llanos. Its name preserves the memory of Doña Osmunda, the woman who looked after the house. The restaurant opened in May 2007, retaining the hipped roof, porch and interior walls of volcanic stone. Two dining rooms and a terrace offer different settings, while a former water cistern with a vaulted ceiling provides a room for private celebrations. The cooking takes Canarian recipes as its starting point and adds contemporary combinations of ingredients. The menu moves from local cheeses and aubergine with cane syrup to rabbit in salmorejo tucked inside potatoes. Fish dishes include tuna with passion fruit, pumpkin and teriyaki, and the kitchen also offers fresh fish suggestions. Beef ribs, braised pork cheek and beef fillet give the meat section a substantial presence. Tropical fruit appears repeatedly, including in an avocado, prawn and mango preparation dressed with passion fruit. Desserts continue that interest in contrasting flavors, with cheese foam and passion fruit, warm cheesecake, and an avocado and fresh cheese cream with thyme oil and mango. A separate children's selection includes veal escalope and chicken with fries. The wine collection is another part of the house's identity, with staff available to suggest a bottle alongside the chosen dishes.

Piazza Tache, 11020 Gressoney-La-Trinité
Castore & Polluce stands on Piazza Tache, the square at the heart of Gressoney-La-Trinité, and is open from eight in the morning until late at night. The day starts with espresso and homemade cakes; later the kitchen serves modern dishes made from local produce, with vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free choices. There are three places to sit: the terrace on the square, the Castore room - an alpine lounge around the bar - and the quieter Polluce room, where the wine is kept. An AIS-certified sommelier looks after around 250 labels and leads tastings, and in the ski season the day ends with after-ski sets from a DJ.

Ćatovića Mlini is a konoba in Morinj, at the head of the Risan bay in the Boka Kotorska. The name means Ćatović's mills, and it is literal: the restaurant occupies old watermills, on the streams that come down off the Orjen massif and run into the bay a few metres further on. The water is the reason the mills were built here and the reason the place looks the way it does. It calls itself a konoba — the traditional Adriatic eating house rather than a restaurant in the international sense — and the greeting on its own site is direct: with us, you are the star. Tables stand outside among the water and the trees, which is where almost everyone sits. The hours are simple and the same every day of the week: midday to half past ten at night, straight through, with no closing day. Booking is the sensible course in season — this is one of the best-known addresses on the bay and the Boka fills up between June and September. Morinj lies on the E65, the coast road that runs around the bay from Herceg Novi towards Kotor. The Bay of Kotor is a UNESCO World Heritage site, and this stretch, the inner Risan basin, is the quietest part of it. You will find Ćatovića Mlini on the E65 at 85338 Morinj.
Pompei · Mediterranean · Fish and seafood · Seating indoors
Via Masseria Curato 2, 80045 Pompei
Caupona connects a meal in modern Pompei with the food and surroundings of the ancient city. Established in April 2016, the restaurant takes its name from the taverns where Pompeians once gathered to eat. Hand painted frescoes, warm lighting, solid wooden tables and terracotta dishes establish the setting, and wine can be served in small amphorae or traditional cups. Guests can also wear clothing inspired by Roman senators and matrons. The cooking follows two distinct directions. Historical menus explore ingredients and preparations associated with ancient Rome, while a contemporary menu offers Mediterranean dishes with a more familiar structure. The ancient selection includes several named five course menus, and separate land and sea tasting experiences provide a longer sequence of dishes. On the contemporary side, pasta includes mezzopaccheri with clams and Neapolitan friggitelli peppers, or tagliolini with Amalfi lemon cream, red prawn and bisque. Main dishes range from amberjack with cannellini beans and wild herbs to lamb shank with mushrooms and nduja. Beef braised in Falerno wine provides another connection with the surrounding region. Desserts include babà, ricotta and pear, tiramisu and a lemon filled with sorbet. There is an indoor dining room and an outdoor garden, giving the restaurant more than one setting for its archaeological theme. Caupona also organizes theatrical dining experiences inspired by classical stories and Roman life. Tables can be requested through the restaurant's own reservation form.
Somonino · Polish · Fish and seafood · Breakfast
ul. Droga Kaszubska 8A, Ostrzyce, 83-314 Somonino
U Stolëma is a lakeside recreation centre in Ostrzyce, on the Kashubian Road that winds through the hills of the Kashubian Switzerland, with a restaurant that serves passing guests as well as people staying in its rooms and apartments. It was founded by Witosław Labuda; the company was formed in Ostrzyce in March 1990 and from the start offered beds and meals on the shore. It later bought the holiday centre it had leased, added a spa and wellness wing in 2010, and is a member of the Kaszuby tourism association and of the local fisheries group. The restaurant is decorated in warm beige and red, with wooden panelling, patterns taken from Kashubian embroidery burned into wood or lit from behind, and hand painted works on one wall and on the ceiling above the dance floor. In summer it opens onto a terrace with a view over Lake Ostrzyckie, and a newer outdoor terrace has a pergola with a movable roof. The kitchen cooks Polish and Kashubian specialities: duck leg with homemade dumplings, the Stolem schnitzel, pierogi filled with goose and dried plums, grilled chicken breast in chanterelle sauce and potato plińce with game goulash. Black pudding croquettes are another regional dish, and there are poultry, fish and children's plates. Breakfast is served in the morning and à la carte dishes from late morning into the evening. Four halls allow three separate family celebrations at once, and a fireplace room of twenty five square metres with hunting decorations seats up to twenty. The lake belongs to the Radunia ring of ten connected lakes, and the Wieżyca lookout tower lies about six kilometres away.
Bodenmais · Seating indoors
Chamer Hütte 1, 94249 Bodenmais
Chamer Hütte is a mountain refuge on the southern slope of the Kleiner Arber, at an altitude of 1,289 metres in the Bavarian Forest. Also known as Schutzhaus Kleiner Arber, it has been operated by Schi-Club Bodenmais since December 2008 as a base for walkers and winter sports visitors. Two dining rooms provide a sheltered stop in the mountains, while the wider building has its own water supply, washrooms and shared overnight accommodation. The food associated with the hut is firmly Bavarian: Brotzeit platters, dumpling dishes and sweet Kaiserschmarrn suit the setting and the appetite built up on the climb. Reaching the hut is part of the experience. The club describes a route from the Rißloch car park through the waterfalls, another from Oberlohwies over the Kleiner Arber, and walking and cycling approaches from Bretterschachten. These give visitors several ways to build a meal into a longer excursion through the Arber landscape. In winter, slippers are required inside, and sledges can be hired for the descent towards Bodenmais along the touring run. The building also carries a substantial local history. An earlier refuge stood on the north side of the mountain before a fire, and the replacement at the present location was inaugurated in 1950. It later became a youth hostel before closing in 1999. Today's club operation continues that connection between mountain recreation, simple accommodation and a welcoming place to eat.

16 Grand Rue, 16320 Villebois-Lavalette
Chez Ninie is a pizzeria and restaurant on Grand Rue in Villebois-Lavalette, offering a straightforward choice of Italian and Mediterranean dishes. It works for a sit-down meal in the village or a takeaway to bring back after a day out. Pizza is a central part of the offering, but it is not the only reason to stop here. The selection also includes salads, grilled dishes and fresh pasta, with tagliatelle specifically among the restaurant's specialities. Vegetarian choices are available, and ice cream offers a simple way to finish. This range is useful when one person wants pizza while someone else prefers pasta or a plate from the grill. Ask about the current selection when ordering, particularly if you have a dietary requirement. There is an indoor dining room and a covered outdoor terrace. The restaurant lists 48 indoor covers and 22 terrace places, so the outdoor area is relatively small compared with the dining room. For a larger gathering, group menus can be arranged on request; contact the team before bringing a party rather than relying on space being available. Takeaway service makes Chez Ninie a practical alternative when you prefer to eat at your accommodation. Dogs are welcome, and card and contactless payments are accepted. Opening days vary in summer, when Wednesday service is added to the usual schedule. Telephone ahead to check the kitchen hours and to arrange a group meal.

12901 McGregor Boulevard Ste 16, Fort Myers, 33919
Sun–Thu 16:00–21:00; Fri–Sat 16:00–22:00
Cibo Italian Restaurant & Bar occupies a space in Bridge Plaza on McGregor Boulevard, across from The Landings in Fort Myers. Family owned and established in 2004, it brings Italian cooking together with Mediterranean and American influences. Candlelight and a softly lit dining room give the setting an intimate feel, while the bar offers another place to settle in with a drink before eating. Much of the food is prepared in house, and the selection ranges from familiar pasta dishes to seafood and grilled meats. Starters include charred octopus with roasted corn and lemon oil, clams with garlic and white wine, and ricotta gnocchi with asparagus, mushrooms and parmesan cream. The pasta selection includes lasagna with meat ragù, rigatoni in vodka cream sauce, and angel hair with vegetables and cannellini beans for a vegan option. Several dishes can be prepared gluten free on request. Grilled filet mignon comes with spinach and mashed potatoes, while seafood choices include salmon with lemon caper butter and shrimp scampi over angel hair. Desserts give the meal an Italian finish: tiramisu layers espresso and coffee liqueur soaked ladyfingers with mascarpone, and cannoli have a pistachio ricotta filling. The drinks list extends from Italian wines and bottled beers to Negronis, spritzes and espresso martinis. Reservations are handled by telephone, with guests asked to provide their preferred date, time and party size. Cibo also accommodates private celebrations and offers catering for family occasions and business gatherings. Delivery ordering provides an alternative for guests eating at their accommodation.

Passeggiata Dino Grollero 18, 17021 Alassio
Clapsy Alassio stands between the town's narrow shopping streets and the sea on Passeggiata Dino Grollero. Orange accents brighten the outdoor tables, while handmade Vietri tiles carry that colour into the dining room. This was the first restaurant opened by Claudio and Orietta in the Clapsy family, whose story began in 2004. It is a convivial seaside address for pizza, fish and the group's own take on cheese focaccia. The focaccia is an important part of the restaurant's identity. Two thin layers enclose creamy crescenza cheese, with a classic version as well as combinations involving pesto and pine nuts, smoked speck, aubergine or other additions. Claudio learned the method while working in Recco's bakeries and developed the restaurant's own interpretation from that experience. Pizza lovers can choose between the especially thin, crisp style and a separate Neapolitan selection. The thin Margherita pairs tomato, mozzarella and basil; the vegetarian version adds courgettes, aubergine and rocket. Among the Neapolitan choices, Partenopea uses San Marzano tomato and fior di latte, while Campagnola brings grilled vegetables and burrata. There are also richer combinations with sausage, spicy salami and regional cheeses. Seafood and Ligurian country cooking broaden the offer beyond the oven. The restaurant describes its sourcing around the fish markets of Savona and Imperia, regional olive oil and selected Italian produce. It is a useful option when some of the table want pizza and others prefer a restaurant meal. Contact this Alassio branch directly to arrange your table and confirm service times.
Omiš · Italian · Pizza · Mediterranean

Trg svetog Mihovila 1, 21310 Omiš
Cocopazzo occupies Saint Michael's Square in the old part of Omiš, with a terrace beside the church. Italian and Dalmatian influences meet in a menu that covers handmade pasta, seafood, wood-fired pizza and desserts. It is a convenient choice for a meal during an old-town visit, particularly when different people at the table want quite different things. The pasta and risotto choices go beyond familiar holiday staples. Fuži is paired with pistachio cream and stracciatella, while one risotto combines beetroot, blue cheese and walnuts. Seafood diners can choose tuna with celery sauce, sea bass with broccoli and spinach sauce, or octopus with baked polenta. A chef's fish platter for two combines several kinds of fish and shellfish. Pizza is made from hand-stretched dough and cooked in a wood-burning oven. Choices include a simple Margarita, vegetables, four cheeses and mortadella with pistachio pesto. The menu also identifies vegan beetroot gnocchi with avocado and lemon, alongside a vegetable pasta option. Children have smaller carbonara or chicken nuggets with chips. Homemade cakes and pastries form a separate reason to leave room at the end; Cocopazzo works with I Gemelli Patisserie and also serves Croatian wines and cocktails. For a celebration or a larger table, call ahead and explain the occasion. The restaurant operates seasonally, with the local tourism board listing May through October, so confirm opening times before planning a visit near the beginning or end of the season.
Znojmo · Italian · Pizza · Steak and grill
Jana Palacha 1, 669 02 Znojmo
Sun–Thu 10:00–22:00; Fri–Sat 10:00–23:00
Corso cafe&pizza sits on Jana Palacha beside the central park area of Znojmo, combining a pizzeria with a cafe inspired by the town's older coffeehouse tradition. The restored venue reopened in 2014, and its story draws on the influence of Viennese cafe culture. Pizza uses Italian Caputo flour, with choices including a simple tomato, mozzarella and basil Margherita and richer combinations with cured ham or several cheeses. The wider kitchen also offers pasta, beef burgers, flank steak and Czech svíčková, so pizza need not be the whole table's choice. Desserts are made in the kitchen, and Lavazza coffee gives visitors a reason to stop even when they are not planning a full meal. The separate children's playroom is a practical detail for parents: it is behind glass doors and includes a slide, climbing equipment and toys. The municipal tourism listing places Corso near the town center in the park setting and records an outdoor garden for warmer weather. You can therefore consider it for either an indoor family meal or a break outside during a walk. Its mixture of familiar dishes, coffee and homemade sweets makes planning straightforward when appetites differ. A party can start with pizza and let dessert become a second part of the visit. Tables can be requested by phone or through the booking form, with confirmation sent by text message.

Bahnhofstrasse 17, 9326 Horn
Costa Verde brings a Spanish menu to Bahnhofstrasse in Horn. Host Paco Galan's restaurant offers a particularly wide choice of fish and seafood, together with grilled meat and traditional starters. It is an evening address through most of the week, with an earlier opening on Sunday and Monday as the closing day. The starters make it possible to explore several familiar Spanish flavours. Choices include tortilla, octopus salad, Galician-style octopus, marinated anchovies, Manchego cheese and cured ham. Prawns appear grilled, on skewers or in garlic sauce, alongside squid, mussels and clams. A few starters can introduce the seafood emphasis before a larger plate. Among the main dishes are a mixed fish-and-seafood grill, sole, turbot and monkfish. One monkfish preparation combines the fish with prawns and shellfish in a clay pot. Meat options include lamb chops, marinated skewers and grilled veal, pork or chicken. Paella is available only by advance order for at least two people, making a telephone call important if that is what you want to eat. Dessert keeps the Spanish thread with homemade crema catalana and a nougat ice-cream cake, alongside other ice creams. The menu gives a choice of potatoes, vegetables, rice or salad as accompaniments. Contact the restaurant directly to book, arrange the paella and discuss dietary requirements. Check kitchen service before arriving late, since the published closing time describes the restaurant rather than a guaranteed last food order.

10231 McGregor Boulevard, Fort Myers, 33919
Cristof's on McGregor is the Fort Myers restaurant of Sicilian born chef and owner Cristof Danzi. His culinary training took him through Italy, France, England and Bahrain, and the menu reflects a Mediterranean foundation alongside Southern touches. Seafood, aged beef and pasta are central interests, with outdoor seating offering another way to enjoy the neighborhood setting on McGregor Boulevard. The kitchen's combinations make its character clear. Fried green tomatoes are layered with bacon, mozzarella and a corn salsa, while homemade crab cakes are paired with mixed greens and passion fruit coulis. Mussels are simmered with garlic and shallots in a Cajun white wine broth. For a lighter meal, the selection includes a pecan chicken salad with grapes and seasonal fruit, or blackened scallops over greens with feta and strawberries. More substantial dishes range from a brioche bun burger and New York strip to filet mignon with wild mushroom cream. Chicken Toscano brings together artichokes, sundried tomatoes, spinach, mozzarella and Alfredo sauce. Another chicken dish is served over potato gnocchi with truffle cream. Vegetarian choices have their own section, including grilled vegetables with balsamic reduction and baked eggplant with marinara and Parmesan. The separate lunch and dinner menus give visitors several ways to approach the restaurant, from soup and quiche to a fuller meal. A Sunday brunch menu adds another occasion to visit. Tables can be reserved by telephone, and the wine list accompanies a kitchen comfortable moving between seafood, meat and vegetable dishes.

Frazione Biosio 1, 23822 Bellano
Crotto di Biosio sits on the hillside above Bellano, where terraces open towards Lake Como and the surrounding mountains. Indoors, rooms with fireplaces give the restaurant a welcoming setting in cooler weather. Behind them is the natural grotto used as a pantry, a reminder of the traditional purpose of a crotto. The establishment grew from a local meeting place and walkers' stop into the family restaurant it is today. The kitchen draws on the nearby valleys, using cured meats, cheeses and seasonal produce alongside fish and meat dishes. A mixed starter features salumi from Marco d'Oggiono with sweet-and-sour vegetables. Homemade grape-and-walnut bread is paired with natural blue cheese and honey from Biosio, while local cheeses can be ordered with preserves or honey. First courses include pumpkin-and-Taleggio crêpes, fresh egg pasta with sausage ragù and layered pasta with salmon trout, courgette and lake-fish roe. Heartier choices bring lamb cutlets with courgette and mint, grilled sausage with polenta, and skewers served with polenta. A cheese-rich polenta preparation and vegetable sides give companions further options without relying on the same meat dishes. House desserts and wines by the glass allow the meal to end simply or continue at a slower pace. The location suits a meal planned around a visit to the hillside, with the outdoor terraces particularly attractive in suitable weather. Contact the restaurant to reserve and check the current menu and opening days, then use the Biosio address when arranging your route up from Bellano.

The Crown & Sceptre is Minsterley's village pub, family-run, with one big room that serves as lounge and bar, a separate dining room and two open fires that earn their keep in winter. Part of the old wattle-and-daub frame is left visible behind perspex, a reminder of how long the building has been here. The food is homemade pub cooking - fish and chips, gammon, pies - with a Sunday lunch that fills the dining room, so it is worth booking. One changing real ale in summer and two in winter, often from Wye Valley. There is a lawn and patio at the back, a bowling green, live music once a month, and dogs and children are welcome, children until 8 pm on Friday and Saturday.

The Crêperie Solid'Or is named after the Solidor tower that stands a few steps away at the mouth of the Rance, and it does the one thing a Breton crêperie should do well. The galettes are made from organic buckwheat flour, the classic complète with ham, egg and cheese alongside fillings with andouille, scallops or goat's cheese and honey, and the sweet crêpes come with salted-butter caramel made in house. Cider is served in bowls, as it should be. At the weekend the kitchen stays open through the afternoon, which suits a late return from the beach at Bas-Sablons. It fills up quickly in summer; the terrace on the esplanade is the place to wait.
Bastia · Burgers · Fish and seafood · Cakes and pastries
Jardin de l’Annonciade, Chemin de l’Annonciade, 20200 Bastia
Côté Jardin occupies a leafy corner of Bastia’s Jardin de l’Annonciade, where a wooden terrace and parasols give the restaurant something of a beach pavilion’s atmosphere. Trees and lawns surround the tables, while a children’s play area stands beside the terrace. The setting makes the garden part of the meal: somewhere to sit together outdoors, with space around the table and greenery beyond it. The restaurant was conceived by Michel and his nephew Jean-Louis as a gathering place for families and people working in the city. The kitchen combines familiar restaurant dishes with ideas from contemporary street food, using fresh, seasonal ingredients for homemade preparations. Its published menu ranges from a chicken bowl with breaded goat cheese, sweet potato and avocado to pulled beef in pita bread and pork ribs with a house marinade. A classic burger comes with cheddar, tomato and onions. Other choices include pumpkin cream gnocchi with grilled pancetta, crunchy vegetables with Chinese noodles, prawn skewers and pasta combining octopus with sausage. These combinations give the menu variety without tying the restaurant to a single national cuisine. Desserts are another substantial part of the offer. Paris-Brest and a coconut, strawberry and lemon entremet appear alongside a selection of ice creams and fruit sorbets, including Corsican clementine. The restaurant also arranges private celebrations such as birthdays, baptisms and communions, including a personalized cake. Tables can be requested through its reservation form or by telephone.
Pag · Pizza · Vegetarian · Lunch
Prosika 51A, 23250 Pag
D10’s Pizza Fantasista brings a football theme to a beachside pizzeria on Prosika in Pag. Co-founders Ivan Šetka and Martina Bušić present it as an informal gathering place, with music, matches and tables for people arriving from the beach or meeting friends over a meal. The cooking centers on Neapolitan pizza, with ruota di carro as the house style. Football names run through the menu, turning the pizza selection into a team sheet. Buffon’s Marinara combines tomato, garlic, oregano and olive oil, while Cafu’s Margherita adds mozzarella and basil to the tomato base. Both appear among the menu’s vegetarian choices, alongside Guardiola’s Cacio e Pepe. Other combinations move towards stronger flavors: Roberto Carlos’s Freekick brings together smoked provola, grilled eggplant and ’nduja on a yellow base, and Maldini’s Amatriciana uses yellow tomato, fior di latte, Amatriciana sauce and crisp guanciale. Ronaldo’s Marine Predator pairs tuna with red onion, chili and double mozzarella. The island has a place on the team too. Dalma combines an olive oil base with arugula, Dalmatian prosciutto, cherry tomatoes and Paški sir, giving Pag cheese a role among the Italian ingredients. Mo Salah’s Bresaola offers another cured meat combination, with beef, greens and tomato. Guests can eat at the restaurant or order takeaway. Reservations are accepted, and private groups can arrange tables together for birthdays, team meals and small celebrations. Group dining can follow a set menu or a succession of pizzas for sharing, with the arrangements discussed directly with the team.
Hornbach · Steak and grill · Burgers · Fish and seafood
Bahnhofstraße 4, 66500 Hornbach
DAS LOKAL occupies the former Capito address on Bahnhofstraße in Hornbach, beside the Pirminiushalle. Its indoor restaurant and Paradiesgarten give it two distinct settings: a room for a meal with friends and a garden beneath old trees for relaxed gatherings. The neighboring Paradiesgartenweg begins next to the beer garden, with a playground and other leisure facilities close by. The food combines substantial classics with salads, pasta and smaller plates. Starters include tomato cream soup, beef carpaccio, gratinated sheep’s cheese and falafel with hummus. Salads come with homemade dressing and toppings ranging from roast beef to prawns or falafel. Broad ribbon noodles are prepared with olive oil, garlic, olives and peppers, or with basil pesto and market vegetables. The steak selection includes roast beef, Iberico pork, beef fillet and turkey. For groups of four steak diners or more, side dishes arrive as a shared table buffet. Other choices include an Iberico schnitzel and the Hornburger, served on brioche with Emmental, braised onions, cabbage and barbecue sauce. Children have a separate selection of schnitzel, pasta, nuggets and fries. Chocolate cake, sorbet and puff pastry provide dessert options. Food also anchors the events program, which includes steak specials, a changing three course dinner, grilling evenings and live music. Private celebrations can use the restaurant, additional rooms upstairs or the neighboring hall, while catering brings the kitchen to events elsewhere. Reservations and celebration enquiries are handled directly by Christian and the team.

DOMU is a ramen bar and Japanese kitchen inside East End Market, in the Audubon Park Garden District of Orlando, Florida. The first DOMU opened on this spot in November 2016. The East End Market location has carried a MICHELIN Guide Bib Gourmand award every year from 2022 through 2026, and in 2025 the kitchen was named a James Beard Award semifinalist for Best Chef: South. It also features in season 7 of the Netflix series Somebody Feed Phil. Dinner is served seven days a week: Sunday to Thursday from 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm, and on Friday and Saturday until 11:00 pm. Brunch runs on Saturday and Sunday from 11:00 am to 2:30 pm. Happy hour is daily from 5:00 pm to 6:30 pm, and on Tuesdays it runs all night. One thing worth planning around: DOMU takes no reservations. Seating is walk-in only, first come, first served, which the restaurant describes as equal-opportunity dining, so arriving early on a Friday or Saturday evening is the safer bet. A gratuity of 20 percent is added automatically for parties of six or more. The restaurant closes on July 4, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Luitpoldstraße 10, 86415 Mering
Da Daniele is a pizzeria and ristorante on Luitpoldstraße in Mering, with a Mediterranean interior and an emphasis on freshly prepared homemade food. The restaurant describes a family atmosphere and pairs its cooking with a selection of wines. Pizza and pasta anchor the menu, but the choice extends to starters, soups, salads, fish, meat and desserts, allowing a table to put together anything from a single main course to a longer Italian meal. Pizzas come in two sizes, with familiar combinations such as margherita, mushroom, ham and cheese, and quattro stagioni with mushrooms, artichokes and olives. The pasta selection is particularly broad. Spaghetti can be ordered with tomato and basil, garlic and chilli, seafood, or a carbonara sauce made here with bacon, egg and cream. Penne include a mushroom and gorgonzola cream version and a spicy tomato preparation. Among the ribbon pastas are tagliatelle with porcini and rocket, salmon with vodka and tomato cream, and the house Daniele combination of prawns, tuna and cherry tomatoes. Gnocchi come with spinach and gorgonzola or with porcini and truffle oil, while wide pappardelle are paired with walnuts and gorgonzola cream. Baked dishes include both a meat lasagne and a vegetable version layered with spinach, mushrooms, tomatoes, béchamel and cheese. Risotto provides another route through the menu, with versions featuring prawns, porcini, mixed seafood or vegetables. This range gives the restaurant a clear Italian focus while offering several different textures and sauces beyond the pizza section.

Rheinaustraße 53, 76287 Rheinstetten
Da Gino is an Italian restaurant and pizzeria on Rheinaustraße in Mörsch. Giovanni Scarafile is the proprietor, and the restaurant presents itself as a place for Italian cooking in a comfortable dining setting. It offers meals at the table as well as a separate menu for collection, giving visitors a choice between eating out and bringing food back to their accommodation. Pizza is a substantial part of that collection menu. The familiar starting points are Margherita, mushroom, salami and ham pizzas, followed by combinations such as tuna with onions or ham with pineapple. A vegetable pizza pairs its tomato and cheese base with fresh vegetables. Guests who prefer a stronger topping combination can choose the Piccante, which brings together ham, salami, peppers and hot chili peppers. Other variations change the sauce or the shape. Bolognese pizza uses a tomato and minced meat sauce, while the Salsiccia version adds spicy salami and onions to that base. The folded calzone contains ham, salami and fresh mushrooms. Flammkuchen provides another direction, using crème fraîche with bacon and onions; a further version adds cheese, mushrooms and garlic. The classic pizzas are offered in two sizes. The restaurant is directly beside the Rheinaustraße tram stop, as described in the municipality's restaurant guide. That makes public transport a practical option for a meal here. For table reservations or questions about collecting an order, guests can contact the restaurant directly by telephone or email. The house publishes separate restaurant and kitchen schedules.
